Policymaker science briefing: Food insecurity and food access

The American Association for the Advancement of Science’s Center for Scientific Evidence in Public Issues (AAAS EPI Center) and the MOST Policy Initiative are co-hosting a virtual policy briefing on food insecurity and food access to bring trusted sources of scientific evidence to local and state decision-makers throughout the U.S. This virtual event builds on the MOST Policy Initiative’s “Science Notes” on this issue. Science Notes are science briefs or whitepapers designed to answer timely questions at the request of the Missouri state legislature. Many of the issues in one state are applicable in other states; the AAAS EPI Center and MOST Policy Initiative policymaker briefing will offer the potential for this well-researched information to be made available and accessible to decision-makers nationwide.
