(St. Louis Business Journal) CoverCress raises $8M, Bunge’s venture arm participates

St. Louis agtech startup CoverCress has secured $8 million in funding that will position it to commercially launch its newly developed crop.
Bunge Ventures Ltd., the venture arm of St. Louis-based agribusiness and food company Bunge Ltd. (NYSE: Bunge), led the Series B-1 funding round. The financing also included participation from REG Ventures LLC, a subsidiary of biodiesel and renewable diesel producer Renewable Energy Group Inc. (Nasdaq: REGI). Both are new investors in CoverCress.
The startup’s new funding round follows a $5 million financing it announced in April 2020. READ MORE
