With a mission to change the way crops are fed; Pivot Bio is tackling how fertilizer is produced and used by the world’s farmers. These crops feed our families worldwide and the company’s microbial nitrogen product works in harmony with crop roots to meet a meaningful portion of the plant’s nitrogen needs throughout the growing season.
In 2020, Pivot Bio moved to the 39 North Innovation District to take advantage of the growing high-quality talent and other resources the community has to offer.
Most recently, the company has expanded their footprint in BRDG Park and recently joined the Agriculture Innovation Mission for Climate (AIM for Climate) as an Innovation Sprint Partner, committing at least $291 million in product development funding over four years to accelerate the adoption of climate-resilient microbial nitrogen fertilizers.
In the next few years, Pivot Bio is focused on continuously improving the nitrogen replacement capacity of the company’s microbes. Their goal is to help more of the world’s farmers nourish their crops with the most climate-friendly and easy-to-use nitrogen on the market.
